Hopedale Junior Marksmanship Division

Discover a welcoming introduction to the sport of marksmanship in a safe, supportive, and fun environment.

Our Junior Program gives boys and girls ages 8–18 the opportunity to learn firearm safety, develop sharp shooting skills, and build lifelong character traits.

Building Confident, Responsible Young Shooters

At the Hopedale Junior Marksmanship Division, safety is the absolute foundation of everything we do. Kids learn proper handling and range safety protocols from the very first session.

Under the guidance of experienced instructors, they gain confidence and competence in a controlled, positive setting. We help remove the stigma and fear often associated with firearms.

More Than Just Shooting

Marksmanship is a true sport with collegiate and Olympic pathways. It rewards focus, patience, discipline, and consistency. These skills benefit kids both on and off the range. Whether your child thrives in team environments or prefers individual challenges, our program offers:

  • Beginner-friendly individual instruction
  • Team events and competitions
  • A progressive badge system that celebrates real achievement
  • Opportunities for advancement and higher-level competition

Young athletes who may not enjoy traditional team sports often find their perfect fit here. The focus, mental discipline, and measurable personal improvement help build self-confidence and resilience that last a lifetime.
